RASCI-methodTM
What is RASCI?
RASCI is a tool for defining responsibilities and authorities in a very simple and comprehensive way. RASCI is based on a technique called 'responsibility charting', originally from the United States. With RASCI it is possible to accurately indicate what the exact role is between people who together must contribute to a process.
What does RASCI mean?
RASCI is an acronym for expressing responsibilities and represents the different roles, namely: Responsible, Accountable, Supporting, Consulted and Informed.
Explanation RASCI-roles
Functionaries who perform a particular role in a process can get that role in these terms: they fulfill one or more of these roles. These roles can differ by activity.
The Business Model
The relationships between the different processes are displayed in the "Business Model". These usually include both primary, supporting and improvement processes. With the 'Business Model', employees have a complete overview of all processes and their interaction.

RASCI-methodTM
The RASCI-methodTM is the approach we developed and use to support organizations in defining and optimizing processes and responsibilities. In addition to the compact RASCI-model we use the 3-2-1 Approach and 8-Step Plan to do this.
RASCI-method - connecting strategy and operations
Characteristic is that participants in the organization themselves, in a participatory way, get together while being professionally facilitated. It is a process that leads to an agreed outcome that complies with requirements set by management.
If you can't explain it symply,
you don't understand it well enough.
RASCI-ModelTM
The RASCI-modelTM combines in a very compact way the description of a process and the responsibilities associated with each step. Each process shows on 1 Page (!) what the objective, scope and all necessary steps and decisions are, including the corresponding RASCI-roles, all in the same overview.
